Terms of Service

1. The provider

The service is provided by Machan Félix egyéni vállalkozó, e-mail: [email protected] (the "provider", "we"). Full company details are on the Legal notice page (cheerlify.com/impresszum).

2. The service

Cheerlify lets a runner share a private link and race code so friends can watch their race live on a map and send voice or video cheers that play in the runner's headphones mid-race.

Live tracking is free. Cheer credits, pack upgrades and recap features are paid, and are described at the point of purchase.

3. Accounts and followers

Runners create an account to set up and run races. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the races and content you create.

Followers join anonymously with a link, an access code and a display name — no account is required. Do not share a race link or code with anyone the runner would not want watching.

4. Cheers, credits and payments

Cheer credits and pack upgrades are purchased in the Cheerlify app through the app store's in-app purchase system (Apple App Store on iOS, Google Play on Android). The store is the merchant of record: prices and any applicable taxes are shown by the store before you confirm, and the store issues the receipt.

Cheer credits carry over between the events on your account; one credit is drawn each time a follower sends a cheer. The multi-event archive is tied to your account, not to a single pack.

Because credits and digital upgrades are delivered immediately, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal may no longer apply once a credit has been used or a digital service has begun, to the extent allowed by law.

5. Acceptable use

Do not upload or send content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share. Do not use Cheerlify to track or surveil anyone without their knowledge and consent.

We may remove content or suspend access that breaches these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful or illegal.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the cheers and routes you create. You grant Cheerlify the licence needed to store, process and deliver them to the runner and to show them in the race recap.

7. Availability, accuracy and liability

Cheerlify is in active development and is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. GPS tracking, pace and ETA are estimates and may be inaccurate or delayed.

Cheerlify is not a safety, emergency or navigation service and must not be relied on for those purposes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for the service is limited.

8. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; we will update the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Mandatory consumer-protection rights that apply where you live are not affected.

9. Complaints and dispute resolution

Questions or complaints about these Terms or the service: [email protected]. We answer complaints within 30 days.

If you are a consumer in Hungary and we cannot settle a dispute, you may turn to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) competent for your place of residence or for our seat — the list is at bekeltetes.hu — or to the courts. Purchases made through the App Store or Google Play are contracts with Apple or Google; refunds for those go through the store's own process.
