Races running too long

Forgot to tap Finish? We close races that keep running long after the start.

• 12 hours after the start (36 hours for races over 60 km), we pause the race and tell you: it finishes in 10 minutes unless you tap Resume.
• You get a notification every minute, and the app says it out loud if it's running.
• Still racing? Tap ▶ Resume. The next check comes 12 hours later.
• After 10 minutes the race is finished. If your phone sent nothing for 30 minutes before that, it finishes right away.

Your finish is estimated at the point where you reached 98% of the distance, so the hours after the finish don't spoil your time. Then we ask: What was your finish time?
