Pause and resume

⏸ Pause shows "Paused" to your followers. Tap ▶ Resume to go back to live.

What Pause doesn't do:

• It doesn't stop the clock. Your race time keeps running, so a long pause slows your average pace.
• It doesn't stop GPS. If you move while paused, the distance still counts.
• Cheers still play.

While paused, followers never see "Reconnecting…" or "hasn't moved".

Paused by us: a race still running 12 hours after its start (36 hours for races over 60 km) is paused automatically, and finishes in 10 minutes unless you tap Resume. See "Races running too long".

Pause isn't available while waiting for the start line.
