Starting without signal

No internet (data signal)? You can still start. The app uses the saved race data, records your positions on the phone and uploads them when the signal returns. The start time is the moment you tapped, even if it reaches us later.

• The phone keeps up to 20,000 positions (many hours) while offline.
• The tracking screen shows how many positions are waiting.
• Followers see "Reconnecting…" after 150 seconds without data; when the signal returns, your track and distance fill in.

No GPS signal? If there's no first position within 90 seconds, the phone buzzes and tells you (notification and voice). Same if the signal is lost for 4 minutes. It reminds you at most every 5 minutes and tells you when you're live again.
